Compliance Risk

Security Risk
Content that may represent insider threat indicators โ public disclosure of internal information, security-sensitive technical content, connections with known threat actors.

Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection
The new Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), in force since September 1, 2023, is among the world's most stringent data protection frameworks. Premtrace is compliant by design: Swiss data controller, Swiss data hosting, public data only, strict retention limits (12 months for Digests, 30 days for raw scan data), and documented legitimate interest basis.
EU General Data Protection Regulation
Switzerland holds an EU Commission adequacy decision, meaning data processed in Switzerland satisfies GDPR cross-border transfer requirements. Premtrace's privacy architecture โ public data only, data minimization, retention limits, data subject rights, 72-hour breach notification โ meets GDPR Article 28 processor requirements. Enterprise clients receive a full Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Switzerland & EU Only
100% of personal data processed by Premtrace is stored on servers located in Switzerland or the European Union. We do not use US-based cloud providers, US-based sub-processors, or any infrastructure outside Switzerland/EU for personal data. For Swiss regulated entities under FINMA supervision, this eliminates cross-border transfer documentation requirements.
Ethical Framework
Premtrace processes exclusively publicly available information. We never access private accounts, password-protected content, or any data that requires authentication to view. This is both a legal commitment and an ethical one: employee screening must be proportionate and limited to what employees have chosen to make publicly visible.
